CDMA or GSM, What Should You Go For?

CDMA and GSM are the two most important telecommunication standards used across the world. When you are looking for a cell company, it can be difficult to decide whether you should go for CDMA or GSM.
CDMA is used extensively in America and Asia, but GSM covers more part of the globe. But if your mobile use is limited to North America, CDMA is your best bet as it offers better coverage in faraway American towns than GSM does. GSM, on the other hand, is the better technology if you intend to use your mobile overseas. GSM is an international standard and it provides much better roaming facilities.
So, if you intend to travel a lot or if you need to make a number of international calls, you must opt for GSM; if you intend to use your phone exclusively in North America, CDMA will serve you better.
HTC Mobile To Appeal Against ITC Ruling

HTC mobile is going to appeal against the International Trade Commission ruling that favors Apple over S3 Graphics. S3 Graphics is a new subsidiary of the HTC mobile company.
HTC mobile is one of the most popular makers of smartphones and the current lawsuit by Apple against them threatens to disrupt their immensely profitable smartphone production. S3 Graphics was bought by HTC mobile recently and it had recently won a ruling against the Mac OS X by Apple on two texture compression patents. The claims of S3 Graphics that the iOS being used on the iPhone and the iPad were infringing on their patents were immediately rejected by the court.
There have been speculations about the impact of this suit on HTC mobile but the company has gone ahead and announced the Evo 3D for Europe. Earlier this release was under speculation since Apple was persistently trying to block the efforts from HTC.
